Two Bronze Telly Awards as Host of Rotax Max Karting Event TV Broadcast Race Central TV & Radio host helps bring
prestigious television achievement awards to Denver-based Altitude Sports &
Entertainment network Denver, CO – July,30th 2008 –
The winners of the prestigious 29th Annual Telly Awards were
recently announced, and the list of outstanding film and video productions
included a motorsports event broadcast that was hosted by Kurt Hansen, host of
Race Central TV and Race Central Radio. The 2007 Rotax Max Grand
Nationals karting event, which took place at The Track in Centennial, The Annual Telly Awards honor
the very best local, regional and cable television commercials, programs and
segments. Awards are divided into two major categories: Film and video
production, and commercials. Altitude Sports & Entertainment won a total of
six Telly Awards, but the Rotax Max Grand Nationals event was the only
individual production to receive more than one award. “I’m overwhelmed and
extremely grateful to receive these honors,” said Race Central Host Hansen.
“The 2007 Rotax Max Grand Nationals race was a great event and I really do have
to thank Jim Keesling, owner of The Track in Centennial, for giving me the
opportunity to be part of his event. I was thrilled to be a part of the
broadcast production, and I’d also like to thank everyone associated with the
